Discussion Groups & Training
If you want to learn more about Christian discipleship and explore spiritual matters more deeply we offer a variety of opportunities. During Lent and Advent there are Bible study and discussion groups, some of which meet in people’s homes, and some include supper. You don’t have to go to every session and can ‘mix and match’ morning and evenings.
Lent Group
Daytime Groups take place on and after the Wednesday morning service at SomershamChurch 9.30am and Lent Lunches take place at 12noon
Evening Lent Groups begin with a light Supper at 7pm followed by discussion.
After Easter 2020 we are starting a monthly ‘home group’ which is a small group who meet to discuss something, often a passage in the bible and to pray and support each other in an informal way (and with coffee and biscuits). It will meet the 2rd Tuesday of the month, 2.30 -3.30
We also offer Alpha Courses, usually one evening a week for 8 weeks starting in September, and Discipleship Courses.

Bible Study & Prayer Groups
Bible Study/ Home Group
We are starting a Bible study group after Easter. They aim to help people in the journey of faith and meet in people’s homes. You would be very welcome to join. Contact Sue for more information.
Prayer Group We have a monthly prayer group which meets in a home in Somersham to pray through the needs of the world, the church, our community and any person or situation on our heart. Usually the 1st Tuesday of the month at 10am – 11am. You are welcome to join. Contact Sue for details and check the What,s On page for location.
